- 1 Roll Bar, high-grade steel
- 2 Side Mounting Plates, high-grade steel
- 2 Spacer sleeves, high-grade steel
- 2 Screws M10x 30, high-grade steel
- 2 Wearing parts 11x 20, high-grade steel
- 2 Self-locking nuts/washers M10, galvanized
- 2 Countersunk screws M12x 30, galvanized
Tools Neded
- Allen key 8mm
- Thin spanners 13mm, 17mm
- Drill,12mm bit
Disassembly of the seat belt towers
- Open roof
- Remove plastic caps from upper seat belt towers.
- Loosen and remove seat belt retaining screws (1).
- Remove spacer sleeves under belt towners.
Drill the 2 mounting plates
- Install the side mounting plates using the spacer sleaves with the belt retaining
screws.
- Mark holes by the side parts (2)
- Drill the holes (12mm diameter)
Assembly of the roll bar
- Allign the mounting plates with the roll bar holes (11mm) and bolt and torque the side
mounting plates with the countersunk screws M12x30 to 38Nm.
- Install the M10x30 screws (3) through mounting plates, side part and body with
nuts/washers M10 bolts. (see wearing parts position).
- Install spacer sleeves in side parts.
- Bolt belt retaining screws into spacer sleeves (torque 38 -72 Nm)
- Re install plastic caps.
